If the monies are taken from your account between tomorrow and the 8th, you’ll get it on day 1. If not, you’ll have to wait for restock which shouldn’t be to soon after.

Update on my Pre-Order (Made 30th Oct): GAME have sent me a email informing me that my order is now being packed and states it will be dispatched a day before release. They have also charged me for the console and is sitting in my pending payments. Honestly was not expecting any of this and is a very pleasant surprise.

Yeah, I was looking forward to tomorrow to find out if it will be a launch day delivery and for some reason they decided to do it today. I have seen no one else reporting they've been charged this evening, surely it can't be just me... right?

I ordered a Play and Chagre bundle on the 10th Oct. I've had the usual emails, my confirmation and the one from a couple of weeks ago saying payments will be taken soon. I've had nothing else yet, fingers crossed they do it soon, the suspense is driving me mad.

What in the world are they up to, literally no other retailer has begun yet and they suddenly do this? I am by no means ungrateful but this is a very uncalculated thing to do, especially with a company that has dealt with console releases plenty of times before.

I wouldn't worry about it. Game have tweeted people today saying that payment is usually charged on the date of dispatch, but can be up to 7 days before. They may be doing them in batches of exactly what is ordered.

Worth mentioning also with my pre-order is that it has disappeared from My Pre-Orders on the GAME App but is on the website. This does not mean your pre-order has been cancelled, I have had this happen before. And idk why it does this, maybe its something they when processing orders who knows.

Probably best to remember that they have many orders to do and just because they take payment ‘up to’ 7 days before doesn’t necessarily mean they will. They could take it tomorrow or the next day etc so if they don’t take your money today I wouldn’t overthink about it

We are currently having to allocate stock to psychical preorders as a priority, and then online preorders from September. Please do not be disappointed if you do not receive the console on launch if you ordered in October.

The website clearly states that orders after the 24th cannot be guaranteed for launch, which confirms that those made before, are, and also that there is a chance that those made after will still be received for launch. From your other response it appears that you have misread the message.

Agreed, in-store employees arent given info regarding online home delivery pro-orders and rocket_77 has had his/hers put into packing and ready for launch despite ordering on the 30th, if it is legitimate we will probably see a twitter announcement followed by emails later today.

Hi Zazle, I doubt you’ll see an announcement on Twitter or Email, or at least we haven’t been briefed about an announcement. I just don’t want people to be disappointed. We did however put a warning out at the end of October to confirm orders would not be fulfilled for launch day from the 24th onwards.

Tyler's inside information a couple of weeks ago was telling us that none of the orders made after 23/09 could be fulfilled for launch, even though customer services continued to tell us they would be and they were fine.

Had the same with Halifax. I waited 10 mins and went onto Gane, clicked update payment details and then clicked to try payment again and it went through. I also had an email from Game saying they hold the pre order for 48hrs so payment can be made. Looking good!

I've been charged too. A bit of a panic though, natwest declined the payment, sorted it straight away, but bloody hell was my bum twitching. After I sorted it, I did get an email from game saying that my payment had been declined. If this happens to anyone else Game give you 48 hours to update your payment.

Maybe they are only processing orders made before 24/10/20 right now. I wouldn't panic too much we could still get processed before launch plus they did clearly state we aren't guaranteed to get console on launch day anyway.

Just checked and still saying “unshipped”, the only visible difference is there isn’t an option to cancel order or amend payment method.
