I looked at the neon ones. They were meant to be available this week but have been pushed to next week. I have a feeling they just sent the email to all switch pre-orders instead of just neon pre-orders

i saw people listing this on eBay for £600+ stating in the description it was a presale from smyths and they will dispatch as soon as they receive the switch. I copied these links and sent them to the customer services chat and they are cancelling the eBay seller's items because of this. worth doing if you see this too as it is massively unfair

Just received the cancellation email. Orders are cancelled by our online security system and there are various reasons why this may occur. One of the most common reasons is if the card holder name and/or billing address details provided do not match the details that the bank or card provider has on record for them.

I thought it is because my billing address is not in the UK but I sill write it as my UK address. I am not sure because I always use my master card in this way and never been cancelled at other online stores.

I already posted this once, but admin told me I used a banned phrase, hope this version is okay! ***** I managed to get a pre-order of the neon earlier today, so I thought I'd share a set by step guide that worked for me at least. *** 1. Open the Switch you want in two windows and keep window 1 refreshing every 1-2 seconds. I'd recommend using your phone as well because the constant refreshing slowed down my laptop too much to get past the 'place order' stage. *** 2. Watch for the green pre-order option to come up on window 1 and add it to your basket with window 2. *** 3. Proceed to checkout if you can. You may have to wait for more stock. *** 4. Once you get to checkout enter your details but DO NOT click place order unless window 1 is still green. The odds are by the time you've entered your CVV code and ticked the accept terms box a bot will have beaten you to it, but now you're only one click away from snagging the next one. *** 5. When window 1 is green green hit place order on window 2 as fast as you can! *** 6. Hopefully you'll be taken to an order confirmation screen, but if you or your computer were too slow the switch will still be in your basket--repeat from step 3. ***** Good luck guys! I hope you destroy those ebay pr*cks!

Hey guys, been on here all day but randomly decided to call my local Asda and they had it in stock! They even had a choice of colours and the animal crossing version. Asked them to put it aside and now on my way home from picking it and some games up! It’s worth giving that a try. It wasn’t on their website so just call them! Good luck everyone

Smyths have just added the following note to the switch consoles: "Note: If you have already placed a pre-order for the Nintendo Switch, you will receive your dispatch notification between 10th and 17th April." - The expected date otherwise is May 2020

I placed a pre-order from the Smyths Irish site a few weeks ago and they authorized the full amount on my cr*dit card this morning. They also have stock on the .ie site for both colors, so I'm assuming their stock must have arrived or is close? Keeping my fingers crossed!
