You are a life saver but unluckily for me they can only give out limited amount a day and the last one was given to one guy right in my face. They told me i should come back tomorrow. as early as 6am I will be there to pose and wait 😄

I'm so annoyed been on argos since 1st thing got all the way to pay for playstation 5 several times now and says error then out of stock, then out of stock everywhere! So frustrated right now!!!

Think ive got one from argos,nearly gave up as i couldnt put the payment through,it wouldnt send me the verification text so i applied for an argos card & it went through with that,got an email confirmation for collection at local store on sunday,hoping nothing goes wrong from here

It’s worth persevering. I got one 10 minutes ago (I think) for collection on Sunday. They keep appearing for collection then disappearing. Also worth trying disc and digital as one disappears but the other type is available. Home delivery seems gone until the next 2 minute window.

Woke up and saw the stock alert at 10am. Only 1 store in my area with stock (22 miles from me) placed in basket and seems to have gone through. Paypal have processed payment but on my argos account it still says order processing? So fingers crossed.

Try putting in different postcodes from your area I just tried putting a Taunton postcode and it didnt work, all out of stock. But i tried a random Bristol post code and a store popped up near cardiff with stock. 44miles away but at least it had stock

Can you find the order on the argos site when you search for it with an order number? Ive had the confirmation email but whrn i search on site,it says cant search for this order at the moment

Ive just got one!!! finally!!! They seem to be releasing a few at a time so keep refreshing the page and then it should tell you when one comes in stock from local Argos stores in the area. Loads of times its gone before you get to checkout but if you keep trying you should be lucky. Good Luck

For future reference, I think they stagger down the country for times of availability. I live on the south coast and they didn't become available until 10.30ish. Managed to get a disk version as digital was sold out but might help someone. Good luck to all genuine buyers

Thought I had one in Bradford. By the time I went to confirm purchase I was notified it was out of stock. Same thing again with Bridlington store. Can't believe it's still so difficult to get a PS5 a year after release.

I managed to get a bundle via Game yesterday (not what I wanted). I have been trying since 8.15 on Argos, on PC and phone...kept refreshing on different stores across the UK, managed to s*elect Wrexham but sold out instantly, managed to s*elect Chester....sold out instantly. Finally got one for Oswestry so definitely moving down the country!! My Game can just be cancelled now!
