I just spoke to RM, if you had a dispatch email from Game its 48 hours from that email, so should be today if you were advised two days ago. However RM have advised that it could be waiting till 22nd January as 24 and 48hr deliveries are not guaranteed at the moment also delivering till 9pm in some areas !

I am in the same boat Nuriah. I had a dispatch email on Monday night but no tracking number and nothing from RM since. GAME are not responding to my emails either at the moment. I’ve spent £515 for this level of customer service.

I know, my partner wants to get a ps5 when they're actually in stock, and I've said stay away from game, can't even ask a simple question without having to wait days on end, and if it's urgent tonight luck because that's their only contact method 😂

I'm in the same boat as you guys also not had an email from RM which is a littke worrying, I ordered a Nintendo Switch as a birthday present not too long ago & it was Dispatched the same day I ordered it & the following morning at around 5am I had an Email from RM sayibg it would be with me within 48hours and it was! But We've not heard anything about the Xbox yet but stay optimistic!! Our postie doesnt normally show up until between 1pm & 3pm so theres still time!

Alex you don't go to Game for customer service, you go because they have stock. They are a terrible company, run by a terrible person who I avoid at all costs. Could have pre-ordered one from there when they came up but wanted to wait for a company that I think will still be around in 6 months time!

To be fair. The terms and conditions do say expect them by the 22nd so they are covered. With that said after dispatch you’d like to see some RM details.

I know that Royal Mail are struggling to fulfil “guaranteed” deliveries at the moment due to the pandemic. I sent a 48hr tracked parcel a few weeks before Xmas and it took about 8 days to get to to where it needed to be. I checked on the track and trace daily and it just said it was still in the PO I sent it from, even though, upon checking it had been collected and was in the system, just with no updates on the T&T system. I know in my area there’s a lot off staff off isolating so god knows how long it will take.

Very true. They seem to be in the business of taking your money and washing their hands of you. I very rarely use game for this reason.

Not sure as email from Game states on way, personally, i have a tracker ID generated but RM state not received yet by them from seller, cant imagine that would be generated and then left in warehouse for a long period, maybe a day or two but. Plus if ordered on 7th January they were being sent out before by 15th or 22nd according to the site, Just wish Game would respond to communication from people

I ordered on 7th jan, got dispatched email on Monday and just had text from Royal Mail to say it will be delivered tomorrow. So don’t bet on it being delivered 48 hours after you get the dispatched email from game, more likely to be 72 hours.

sounds like a two day delay from being dispatch email being sent to us and it physically in the RM network, if anyone of knowledge of RM around does that sound possible?

Well the dispatch email came late on Friday so I would imagine RM picked up on the Tuesday with delivery being Thursday which would be the 48 hour delivery. I would suspect for those that get dispatch emails that the 48 hours starts the following day.

I work for RM. Tracked takes priority. Very rarely are tracked items delayed. Unfortunately suppliers say they have dispatched way before they actually put the items into the system.

I ordered on the 8th, dispatch on Monday the 11th, just got a notification from RM saying it will be delivered tomorrow. Pretty efficient to be fair, considering volume and pandemic etc.

Ordered All Access on 08/01. Received GAME dispatch email on 11/01. Received royal mail confirmation on 13/01 for delivery 14/01. Be patient, guys, order prep/dispatch & delivery times are always going to vary due to resupply, volumes, busy logistic networks (Royal Mail 48hrs is 'best endeavours') + other issues - we're in a pandemic after-all. If you've got a confirmed order you're in a better position than most, no point getting worked up over waiting a few days extra.

I can’t speak for everyone, but for me, it wasn’t so much the wait time it’s the lack of support from Game. And an overall lack of transparency. Especially with an item so expensive.

I would agree, issue for me is not RM or the delay its the lack of clarity and support from Game, i am still confused why the have switched of the chat function on the app as well,and the standard email responses that have not been updated since November. Its also surprised me a little that with the All Access consoles the only delivery option was RM. Ah well, as you say at least we are the lucky ones, mine now due to arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed. Happy gaming everyone!

Amazing that you folks here are providing the community with more info than Game...
So to recap some of the comments below, it seems to me that:
- If you got the despatch email on the 11th, you should expect a txt/mail from RM today with delivery expected tomorrow.
- If you got the despatch email on the 12th, you should expect (hopefully, I'm one of those) a txt/mail from RM tomorrow with delivery Friday.
Right? Please tell me I'm right.
