Got one from AO .Cant believe my luck .Ordered and paid for. Invoice says delivery in 7 days 10th November. Had to buy it with 3 month game pass ultimate so paid £482 but I wanted a game pass so all good.

Ugh.. just can't believe my luck with this things! Saw the alert, managed to click on the link and even get to checkout but just before payment, error and said it was already out of stock! You guys are soooo lucky..

wait it said it was out of stock m=for me I kept trying and then they put more unstuck and I got one you just have to keep trying because there releasing them a few at a time so try again if you can

have you tried the method on game if you don't know what it is go on the discuss part on game and read a lot down until someone explains how to get one good luck and come back and tell me if you get if you do try using game Im intrigued

Hi, I've read through that thread and haven't really seen a realistic way of getting an order in from Game. I think at this stage, I'm better of just waiting 'til the release date, see which retailers listed on here somehow managed to get surplus stock then try and snag one. I think at some point, something major needs to be done about all these scalpers who simply placed orders (probably for a few consoles) just so they can flip them and make money. Of all the people who managed to place pre-orders, what percentage are actually just scalpers? Loads of them on ebay but does ebay care and try to do anything to stop this kind of extortion? Big fat NO! Extremely unfair to those of us who have genuine interest in gaming and simply want just 1 to upgrade our ageing, last-gen consoles..

Keep an eye on your phone - I've just had a call to say they can't do my bundle (console plus game) but I was offered a slightly more pricey bundle with a controller from stock they've held back from their site for this purpose. Don't want anyone to miss the call and then lose their order outright.

I got one yesterday - order confirmed - payment taken, but they've just called now to say they can't actually fulfill it. Not best pleased since it looks like I've missed other opportunities to get a console without paying £50 for a controller I don't want... but it is what it is.

Wouldn't be so bad if the bundle price didn't mean I was paying £50 for the controller....at least I could just legitimately sell it on for basically the same price to someone. But the xbox store are already discounting the controllers XD . 2020 strikes again

I ordered a Series X from AO on 03/11, had an order confirmation and the payment was taken straight out of my account. They've since updated my order to say "the courier has received your order" but the money has been returned to my account? Should I worry that my order will be cancelled? TIA.

If you see my comment below, I've been told over the phone they didn't have stock for my order...and yet today the tracking says it's been booked with DPD. So I really have NO idea what's going on at AO.

I'd probably keep trying to get one elsewhere (can always cancel it if AO pulls through) and keep an eye on your AO order. I can click the track button on mine, but the DPD site doesn't recognise the number...which normally means it's been booked but they haven't picked it up yet...Which in turn means that the status saying it's 'with' the courier isn't true. Given all the mess with this, and how retailers were when I tried to get a Nintendo Switch earlier this year - I'm not trusting anyone until I can confirm my order has definitely left their warehouse now. So many cancellations despite being guaranteed my orders were placed.

If you're on a phone, try either the desktop site option on Chrome or try a desktop PC. I couldn't see the button from the mobile site

Sign in, go here, and configure your push notifications. Email alerts only apply for confirmed stock, ie a human went to the site and checked. Push notifications are quicker but generally spammier. In this case it seems very few if at all got to buy ***********stockinformer.co.uk/myprofile.aspx

Managed to get in basket, spoke to live chat and said they haven’t got any stock at the moment but will have stock coming up in next couple days leading up to release date so keep an eye out!

Based on what happened to me I'd say just keep it there and refresh periodically - just checked the site again now and it says "in stock" on the search pages (where it didn't earlier I don't think) but not the product page itself

So has that changed. It used to be When you clicked a link to the x box series x, it would not find the page. But when searched for it found it .The page was greyed out as AO do when they have no stock ,and it said no stock with a black cross. I have one on order with AO and even when I click the link for my order it says oops page cant be found.

Mine has shown "The courier has received your order" and a tracking link for DPD for a couple of days - but DPD doesn't recognise the tracking number if I click the link.

That’s funny, as I’ve JUST spoken to a guy at AO and he told me that people will not get tracking details until the day of delivery. And he did say that there’s an Xbox in the warehouse with my name on it whoop whoop 😎

Scratch that - my dpd message is back....but I now have two separate tracking links for two separate consoles (despite the details page only saying one) - I think their site might be under a little bit of stress with everything checking it today haha.

I have 3 tracking pages as well. But The current status has changed to ,your order has been loaded ,and the date has changed from November 10th to tomorrow .So order moving along nicely. I also got a email saying ,still on for tomorrow. Im on a course at work this week so glad its being delivered. A girl on my course is going to the game store to collect her in shop pre order, The funny thing is she told the trainer she will be in late tomorrow because she,s going to get her Xbox LOL.
