PS4 Tops Pre-Order Charts

Following Sony's E3 presentation pre-orders of the PlayStation 4 overtook those of the Xbox One on Amazon (in the UK, US and Germany) and also the popular independent retailer Shopto.net. We do not have any firm numbers from Amazon to reveal the actual difference in orders but they are surely to be of concern to Microsoft.

Maybe gamers are unconvinced of the extra £80 required to secure the Xbox One over the PS4 and the restrictions on pre-owned games which has caused a few raised eyebrows shall we say.

Obviously this is just an very early indication of who is winning the early race for sales and as we know fortunes can change very quickly in this industry.
