Does anyone by any chance have a contact number/email for direct.playstation****** where we are all trying to buy the PS5 from. I managed to buy one on the 23rd and It was shipped and set to be delivered on the 24th. As you can tell from the message I posted on the 24th. At 16:47 the driver sent an image of proof to show he attempted delivery but this was a picture of a store sign at the bottom of the street, the picture had clearly been taken with the driver still in the van so its obvious no attempt was actually made by him. Then all of a sudden I had updated on DPD's tracker saying the parcel is being taken to a DPD pickup point and then it was rejected for being to big then it went back to the depot and now it was set for delivery the very next day. Took the day off and waited in for it to arrive and I made sure 100000% that the delivery address was my home. All of a sudden I get an update saying the parcel had been delivered followed by an email from DPD with a pickup pass for a DPD pickup point where my parcel had been delivered. Went down there, had the QR code scanned and was told the parcel wasnt there and they have no idea why it was saying it was delivered there when it wasnt. Im going crazy trying to find a contact number for the direct.playstation and their contact a sales specialist button at the bottom of the FAQ's page doesn't work. Called DPD only to be told the sender can only get further information or start a claim. Im genuinely devastated by this whole ordeal. Been trying to get a hold of a PS5 since launch and now this happens I honestly wish I wasn't lucky enough to purchase one as it would've saved me this headache now.

Forgot to mention the DPD pick up point it ws supposedly taken to was the same one that had rejected the parcel for being to big the previous day

I am in the exactly the same situation right niw only difference being I phoned DPD up & queried what was going on, they said it was being delivered on Fri to my home address I said no one will be in & the lady checked my address then said Wed the 1st I said this is not possible due to work & now I am supposedly waiting until the 6th Dec.

My husband and I both joined the queue on our separate accounts. I didn’t get through but he did after 10 minutes. The digital sold out whilst he was inputting his card details but he was able to grab the disk version straight away. I believe it’s just pot luck in the order you get put through.

He was notified on Twitter yesterday. They wrote today that there will be consoles after 10am for the public. I was waiting at the PC and I was queued. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and I was redirected to the ps direct website where I simply bought one. It was easy and fast. You have to watch it well and be there in time.

Just been in a queue for nearly an hour! To be told it's my turn but there out of stock!!! This is getting ridiculous now! And turning into a full time job trying to get 1!!!!! I cannot understand how people are getting them! I'm on every site every day!!!

Managed to get one! I had the queue on my laptop and on my mobile. Every time I would queue on just the laptop It would get into the store after the stock finished, I got in after a few mins on my mobile, bought one and the laptop is still in the queue!

Theres something not right with this queueing system as every time I get put in the queue I wait, get down to a few mins remaining then it shoots to over an hour. Thats not how a queue should work...

Hm... looks like getting to that event page earlier does not put you in higher in the queue than anyone that joins later, looks like it's random, i was on the event page 5 minutes before the browser and discord alerts on mydesktop computer (Sony has been doing this at the same time every day except yesterday where they didn't do it at all) the alert came to my phone (not connected to wifi so on a different ip address) 5 minutes later so I clicked on that, i got through to the queue with more than an hour to wait on my desktop and my phone is saying my estimated wait time is 19 minutes

Ordered on Tuesdays drop, paid the fee & the £9.99 delivery option, Sony says despatched, waited in for delivery from DPD, email from DPD saying sorry we missed you despite no one coming, now getting a shipping delayed from Sony email anyone else?

Exact same thing happened to me this evening at 16:47 in Edinburgh, the image the driver sent as proof of his attempt was a picture of a store sign at the bottom of the street, the picture had clearly been taken with the driver still in the van so its obvious no attempt was made by him. The thing that annoyed me the most was he was at the bottom of the street and couldn't be bothered walking up, instead he marked it as attempted delivery

For what its worth, DPD are a terrible company that overwork their drivers and underpay them. Yes there are no doubtcr*p drivers too, but I prefer to put the blame on the company for putting them in some s***ty situations. They just do not have the time to care for any individual delivery, nomatter how much you actually paid for it.

Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing issues, an update as of this morning, DPD initially said between 10.03 & 11.03 at the pick up point for deliverry, I then get a DPD update now saying it is too big, I am now being told they will try again on 6th DC after calling them, right now I have low hopes on a £450 piece of kit as for the £9 express delivery what was the point, either DPD are trying to steal it or Sony never posted it in the first place

I clicked the push notification yesterday and got in the queue for the 15min countdown. Went through quickly and got one. I logged into PSN first so it was all ready but my card was out of date, so spent ages adding a new one which eventually worked, but expected it would be out of stock. I suggest adding card before. Also got a GAME bundle a few days ago but I think I'll just resell that on eBay and keep the games.

Make sure card details and address are correct before buying, the site told me my details were wrong but didn't say where and by the time I figured it out the PS5 in my basket had sold out. Went from very happy to very frustrated

I really thought I would be able to purchase ps5 today as I was able to enter the site for the first time after 15min wait in the queue. Had all in hand, cr*dit car, psn account and everything. When I click the purchase button it tells me it is now out of stock. Seriously... it is so frustrating to try to buy this one!!

I was in the queue in less than 10 seconds after clicking the Discord Link, I was doubtful but after about 15 minutes in the queue it let me in and completed checkout sucessfully. Incase it helps I would recommend making sure you have a debit card already added to your PSN account beforehand as the store doesn't accept any other payment method for Ps5's which I find out during checkout. This was my thrid attempt at getting one from the PS Store so it can be done though my previous two attempts were "minutes" after clicking the discord link instead of seconds. Hope this helps.

I clicked the discord link right away as well, and I got the out of stock page, I had to refresh the page for about 10 minutes before it gave me the event will start in 10 minutes page.......

No e-mail confirmation yet, I had to go to the playstation direct store to see the order in my history, when I went to the PSN store it doesn't show in there so it might be treated like a different store.

I did actually get an e-mail confirmation but it was in my Junk, so make sure you check that, it also got dispatched the same day and should apparently arrive the next.

I have been waiting in queue since the beginning. After the 4980 queued very quickly, I ordered a new PS5, which is the second PS5 I ordered this month. And the first one was ordered on Games on the 9th of this month.

I set off two queues for this. One on my mobile going out of my NordVPN proxy and other several minutes after on my laptop going out of normal internet gateway. Interesting that NordVPN way put my 28700 odd in the queue as it did previously when I tried to buy direct. The laptop clicked minutes after with normal internet gateway ut me at 7200 ish in a queue. The laptop method got me in but then web pagescr*pped out trying to login to my Playstation account. I refreshed the pages a couple of times and it then managed to get me logged in. I was then able to complete a purchase without problem. Thank you stockinformer!
