Even if it does,dont order from Currys. Many people have had problems with them and having their order put on hold for a while just to cancel. The customer service is also shocking.

The customer service is beyond shocking: it is nonexistent. I bought an XBOX from them back during the early days of the quarantine which I was charged twice for. There is no phone number, there is no email. There's a Twitter support service which is run by another company which is rude and atrocious. They respond, IF they respond, about a week after you make an inquiry, often with a useless generic message. I had to contact me bank to cancel the charge, because Currys was absolutely useless.

So after being on the phone for over an hour while the guy finds an answer about cancelling my order from curry's it turns out he didn't and I've just got an email saying my order is progressing 🙄🙄🙄 now a long wait time on the phone trying to cancel the order 😒😒😒

Hello Smile i ordered a switch on the 7th of May through the curry's website and after a long time of my order being 'on hold' and a phone call to customer services where i was told 'there's no stock and we don't know when we will get more stock', the status of the items changed from on hold to 'order received'. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is this a good sign? i bought a game along with the switch, and i am worried as it is a lot of money to have taken from my account when i have received absolutely no information from curry's about restock or dispatch, or even a confirmation after this status change. Does anyone know if there will be another restock soon, or should i just try to cancel my order and look for a switch elsewhere? i am aware people have had a lot of trouble with the customer service so i am unsure of what to do. Thanks everyone !!

Hi I’m having the same problem at the moment, I was hoping that it would just turn up outside my door today but no luck! It’s just so frustrating that we have had no communication from them whatsoever, if I don’t receive it by Friday I might cancel my order

I have been hopeful that it would show up today too - but nothing. I received an email simply stating 'we're sorry to say we can't get your delivery to you as soon as we said on our website', however the website said i'd have it by the 15th, so this was quite self explanatory. It is just so frustrating, especially as i am now seeing a couple of people saying that curry's sold the stock they got in on the 16th, rather than allocating this stock to the customers who have already bought these products. Of course i don't know that this is true, but it is still quite annoying that we are all left in the dark. I hope you receive some info on yours soon !!

Same situation as me then Pw, did you have any success getting through to get your refund? I don't know whether to spend 2 hours trying to get through the customer service lines or just wait until they have it back in stock in case they send it out!

After 2 hours on the phone to the customer service today i was informed there would be no confirmation of my order until there is another restock of the switch, and they couldn't confirm when this would be. I have cancelled my order. I am glad that you got yours though, hopefully i will have some luck elsewhere!!

Hi all, I logged into my account this morning to see that my order which before said “on hold” is now just highlighted green and doesn’t say “on hold” anymore. I’m a little worried as it doesn’t even say dispatched, would be good to know if anyone else has experienced this?

Similar situation here except yesterday mine changed to 'dispatched' and now it's just a green bar with zero information besides the order number and price - it now doesn't show the image or name of the bundle I ordered. Don't know what to think as I didn't receive the dispatch email or any tracking info after the order status change yesterday, just hoping it turns up at my door

May 7th orderer here - logged into Currys to see it now says 'dispatched' although no dispatch email received nor expected delivery date. Anyone else in the same boat? Praying the change from 'On Hold' to 'Order Received' to 'Dispatched' actually means it's getting sent

Hi I ordered on the 7th as well and I haven’t had any update from Curry’s and when I log in my order still says ‘on hold’. I hope you receive yours soon, this customer service is awful. It’s not just Nintendo’s that they’re messing people around with. On the Facebook community page so many people are waiting on different orders

I've had no emails at all and Ive been trying to cancel since yesterday. I've emailed live chatted sent messages on fb and been sat on the phone for ages trying to get through to someone. I ordered Saturday morning then got told my order is locked and I've had no email at all about anything. Starting to get really annoyed now 🙄🙄

Utter joke Currys. Refused to respond to any of my messages for 2 weeks and then today got a cancellation email, which could take up to 10 days to reach me. So they will have had my money for 1 month before they admitted they couldn't get any stock. Utter joke

Wouldn't have got hold of one without this site Smile having said that, this is the last time I ever order from Currys, I'm appalled at what's been happening and how their customer service agents have been treating people on here. Phone tomorrow 2-3 minutes before 9am to get through all the talking its the quickest way i got through this morning.Hope that helps. Also they may have a tendency to cut you off so i asked not to be put on hold. It worked for me.

Hi been following everyone’s comments for a while. I ordered my super smash bro’s with neon switch bundle 7th May. Last I heard from curry’s was the cancellation email on the 8th then another email saying it wasn’t cancelled anymore. I can’t get through on any form of communication to them and have no emails or contact from them at all. Feel a bit at a loss now and even if I did want to cancel I can’t seem to get through! Seen lots of people saying they have received there’s or have received dispatch emails. Is anyone in the same boat as me and had absolutely nothing?

7th May orderer here, I’ve been told via twitter : it appears there was a error during the stock allocation process at our online warehouse. Due to this stock has not been automatically allocated to your order. We can arrange for this to be rectified and leave your order live for when more stock has been received so this is automatically allocated to your order. Sadly we do not have a confirmed stock intake date so would currently be unable to advise on a estimated date this will take place. Alternatively at your request we can look to cancel the order for a full refund.

The thing with ordering from game is that they are over charging. It cost £400 for the switch and 2 games. They were charging £60 a game when you can get some of those game for £40 so I left it

Boycott Curry's!!! They have banked interest on the cash they have taken from unfulfilled orders. Maybe this is the agenda during the lockdown downturn.. I have filled a full enquiry to "Trading-standards". Suggest others follow suit. Totally unacceptable behaviour from a retailer

Just had my order from the 7th cancelled as they don't have the stock, why were they still selling it two days ago and why on earth has it taken nearly two weeks to tell us?! This is after a week of chasing! Utter shambles.

My order of the 7th May was dispatched on the 10th by Royal Mail, received by the regional mail centre on the 11th, and since then, no updates. The mail centre don't have it, they say it's with the local depot. The local depot say they don't have it. Currys say it's been dispatched so all tracking is now with the courier (Royal Mail). Now this can't be a case of Currys not having the stock, because something was sent and scanned into Royal Mail's system. But where is it???
