I ordered mine last week it says estimated delivery December 24th. I've just had an email saying my order of Lucy Dog is on it's way. After reading these comments I checked my Very account and it says being prepared for delivery in 16th December then the estimated delivery date says 11th February?!?! I am hoping this is not true but I have 2 others on stand by so fingers crossed I can get 1 of them. Good Luck to everyone =)

would hardly call this trouble, "last week / within 7 days" was "dispatched today" really dont fit together that well with the word trouble, would of done better tho using littlewoods/woolworths/isme *all the same owner as very* can just use the first time off users offer for £30 of £60 and get one free, ordered 2 from littlewoods on 12th *out of working hours, and awaiting stock* today 17th dispatched / coming tomorrow *from the tracking*

I said i never had trouble with Very before in reference to other people below saying that they have. why would i want 2 of them? when i onlu need 1 and when other people out there are struggling to get 1.

I just want to make clear that I think that Stock Informer is a fantastic website and I greatly appreciate it, any criticism I made was aimed strictly at the conduct of Very who are cashing in by boosting their customer base getting people to register to buy non existant stock, on another note has Stock Informer considered doing a phone app for this?

Ive luckily managed to reserve one at my local Argos so I have now cancelled my Very order and won't be worrying that they were going to cancel on me.

I placed an oder 4 times with Very and each time had an email saying my order was out of stock. Complained twice to theor customer services but got nowhere. I hope Very come good for you all who have ordered tonight- but Id carry on looking to be safe. Sorry! x

Just to let u all know I ordered Lucy from very just under 2 weeks ago with a promised delivery date of the 18th December, then yesterday I went into my account & the delivery date had changed to the end of January. I emailed them the confirmed delivery would indeed be the 19th Jan, I needless to say I cancelled my order and for another from Amazon using the wonderful stock informer, sorry to disappoint anyone but if I was you I'd carry on the search if u ordered from Very.

I had same from Very when had delivery of 18th Dec and was then moved to end of January. I have had email today saying it has been despatched so looks like (some) stock has arrived.

To be honest, I'm thinking of taking the whole Lucy the Dog webpage down tomorrow, not just Very. Tonight I have just had grief from all quarters to do with this dog and I just don't need it. Sad

I understand why you say that as some people don't seem to understand that the issues are down to the retailers themselves, and the fact that this is an item in short supply! In this case I'd try not to take it too personally and put it down to the fact that people are getting pretty desperate to get their (young) kids what they want for Christmas and so tend to over-react. The vast majority of us think you're providing a great service.

aww i wouldn't let people get to you you are doing a fantastic job i have my lucy here and i wouldnt have if it wasnt for your sitr so just think of the smiles on little girls faces on christmas morning that your hard work help to put oon their little faces xxx got to just ignore the haters and carry on doing a fab job xxx

I wldn't take any notice of them either. I would like to thank stock informer because I have now got Lucy the dog after being glued to ur site for a few weeks. I would still be looking now if it wasn't for everyone's advice on this site. u just need patience and then be very quick when the alert goes off be very very quick. DDon't forget this site is an alert that stock is available to order not a guarantee u will get anything. Thank you again stock informer I will use this site again if hving difficulty finding something.

Please take Very off Stock Informer, I've had my order for Lucy cancelled twice now, this time they haven't even had the decency to let me know, I saw the date had changed to the end of January on my order with not a word from them.

Exactly the same happened to me with Very. I ordered mine with Very at the begining of November and recieved an email YESTERDAY saying out of stock!!! I went to order from another site now knowing how popular they were and now Im left with nothing!!! I am very annoyed to say the least. Grrrrrrr

Boycott ****Very****** i have been hunting for a lucy dog for weeks and finally managed to get one this morning. a few hours later i had received no confirmation however the money had gone from my account! I called them to say i had received no confirmation only to be told i hadn't paid. I had heard of people having problems before so i purposely took pictures of paying etc and confirmation of payment. when i told them this suddenly my payment was there. They told me they were now sending me a confirmation email. when i got off the phone the confirmation email had arrived however it said "we are sorry but your item is no longer available" yet very****** are still advertising the item on there site saying "low stock" absolute rip off company taking peoples money for stock they do not have. Lots of people have been complaining about it this morning all being sent the same email no longer in stock after paying!

I think Stock Informer should drop Very from it's list out outlets, they are just messing people about, every time there is an item in short supply Very have stock available that nobody can actually buy,if it is out of stock it should say so.

Twice I have had an order accepted by Very and twice they have sent me an order confirmation saying out of stock, but the website still says they are in stock, quite a shabby way to treat customers.

I've just been reading the reviews on Very's website and they are mainly diabolical. Customers are contacting the ombudsman in their droves. How on earth do they get away with such poor service.

Oh I will be writing to Very, their underhanded way of doing business is damaging their reputation, I spoke to their call centre at my cost and time, oh and yes a foreign call centre, one thing Very are good at is a Very Poor Service.... Very very disappointed.

Been trying to get one for 2 weeks ordered as stock available do very happy then an hour later an email saying out of stock order cancelled what a joke.... Even rang Very to confirm and they confirmed order and delivery tomorrow... Not best pleased and if Very would like to comment would appreciate it....
