IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

  • Please DO NOT rely on receiving an email or push notification alert to find you stock. We will send notifications on a case by case basis. It is pointless us sending thousands of notifications if a retailer only has a few units of stock which get snapped up almost immediately. Just leads to further frustration.
  • Please do not attempt to sell on this forum. There is another well known website for that. Offending posts will be deleted and user accounts suspended without notice.

My delivery was for Saturday because I did the collect free from pick up place. I rang them last night to double check all was good with order after hearing that others had cancellation emails. I haven't received a cancellation email but noticed that it was still on processing in warehouse a hour ago so not gone any further on, so rang again!!!! This they saying due to no stock that it hasn't moved on, I ask why I have not been told this in a email and he said I would get one on the day it was due 😤

😠😠😠😠 verys a joke. mine went from prepareing at warehouse to awaiting stock to cancelled. then i got an automated message on phone to say would be delivered when in stock. yet moneys been sent back to bank account so clearly not. i was lucky to get one in tesco today so i dont need the one from very now. never slept a wink lastnight checkin to see if it said despatched. lol

i checked online this am. phoned the store and they said they would check if they had on shop floor as computter was saying in stock and would phone me bk. they did and luckily they kept for me..was a 70 mile round trip but will be worth it .... i need sleep lol. keep checking tesco direvt and closest stores. was shocked that a woman brought all 3 others and on the 3for2 😱 defo worth phoneing i wouldnt jump in the car and do a treck for nothing. fingers r crossed for you

I have no idea whether I’m going to get this one or not. I’ve had order confirmation and was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. But nothing since. I rang Very this afternoon and the advisor said everything looks fine with the order but tbh I’m not holding my breath! This is such a nightmare 😩

It seems to me it’s the luck of the draw since with so many people trying to check out at one time glitches will happen.

Same here - order still at warehouse yet supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I’m not hopeful. Spoke to Very this morning who advised me they do not have enough stock to fulfil all orders and that it is highly likely my order will be cancelled.

Same here!! Try ringing the reservation line on Argos at your local store. I've just managed to reserve one to pick up Monday, seems like most stores have got them in. Good luck!!

Smyths is pretty good at fulfilling pre-orders. I wonder whether sites like this unfortunately increase the likelihood that we will be set on wild goose chases. Because everyone is trying to buy this stuff at the same time - it’s literally several hundreds of people so not surprising it can go wrong.

After my nightmare of Very! I have rang up the reserve line with Argos and 3 of my localish ones have them available and I could reserve one!!! 😁😁😁😁😁 fingers cross pick up and have it for tomorrow, I been ringing night and morning and has now paid off, the question is will I still sleep tonight, not sure until I have it in my hands, how sad is that 😂

Argos are obviously not putting back online as of yet or letting us know which ones have stock, so it's definitely worth ringing the reserve line. X

I agree with Helen whereby I think they had too many orders for the amount of actual stock and prioritised the next day deliveries over local drop off

I've just ordered from Amazon Italy, price has reduced slightly so worked out at £70 inc shipping, i got hatchimals from them last year so am optimistic. if you dont have prime just sign up for the free trial and cancel later.

Thanx Gemma84007 I already tried that. They have none left in the warehouse. I’ve been told they will be back in the warehouse on the 6th Nov and you have to go to store they won’t reserve them over the phone anymore.

I think I may have got one from Tesco Direct. I won’t hold my breath though until it’s dispatched. It says Monday for delivery so fingers crossed 🤞 I did ring my local store but no joy. I just have to keep trying

I ordered one on Thursday, in stock, received confirmation email showing delivery on 28/10, on my account this morning noticed that they are now out of stock, haven't received an email to say it's not coming, phoned customer service who where no help at all, asked for a manager, none available, requested a call back, still waiting, have emailed a complaint, not holding out much hope in getting a reply.

verys a joke. im still waiting on my cancelation email from 11.17 yesterday 😂 i had major problems with them last year that i was never going to buy from them again vut needs must of this toy. wish i hadnt wasted my time and now to wait for refund which im sure they will cock up. lol

I also purchased from spain it's been pending for ages, so today I decided to cancel my purchase and I have just purchased direclty from amazon.uk ( seller HASTAGSHOPPING ) after 30 minutes I received confirmation and tracking number with HERMES ......CAN'T WAIT ! ! !

Ratings do not mean anything, both Amazon and ebay protect your payment, some of the other sellers are from overseas I prefer to buy direct, if something happens you need to return it to the seller, it's cheaper this way at least I think ...!

They do if they dont send it out and then you will have to waif for youre refund and open up a case. Might be waiting for youre money for any where between 1-2 weeks. Of course ratings mean some thing. Who would u buy off some one with 2 ratings or some one with 2000 ratings especialli if they were both the same price. It shows how reliable they are and they are safe with built up reputation and a lot of happy customers. I think you are a seller yourself. Just the way that you are talking. U must think people are silly.

if the price is the same i would prefer to purchase from the seller who has better feedback, of course anything can happen, I have reiceved a confirmation from Amazon and there is a tracking number and email confirmation from Hermes the tracking doesn't work yet as I purchased it this afternoon...FYI if I were the seller I would be emailing everyone in the chat, regards
