Xbox One Launches in November 2013 at £429

Microsoft announced at the E3 gaming conference that the new Xbox One console will be launched during November 2013 with a UK price tag of £429.00 ($499 in the US and €499 in Europe).

This price is initially higher then the PS4 at £349.00, however Microsoft is keen to point out that the Xbox One will include the improved Kinect Sensor as opposed to the PS4 which doesn't include the PlayStation Camera. It's also being classed as an 'all-in-one' entertainment solution for the living room and not just a games machine.

A limited commemorative edition of the Xbox One console bundle will be available to customers who pre-order from certain retailers (yet to be announced). Included in this package will be a limited edition Day One wireless controller and exclusive day one downloadable content.

It remains to be seen whether this will be enough for the loyal band of hardcore Xbox gamers to continue using the brand however if pre-orders significantly lag behind that of the PS4 then Microsoft maybe tempted to lower the price before launch.

We do not yet know an exact date in November, however we do know it will be a worldwide launch (in 21 countries) which will surely put a strain on supply in the run up to Christmas. Stock Informer will be tracking for availability as usual.
